We are Pro-United States Military Activists who have banded together to answer the call to support our troops. Some of us have served in the military while others have not, however we all have one common bond: we love our country and we honor our troops. We want to insure that our deployed servicemen and women know that they have the support and prayers of the great majority of the good hearted American people.
We know that our troops in the field appreciate "a touch of home" in the form of desired personal items that aren't supplied as part of TO&E government issue. We also know that many military families are heavily strained by separation from their loved ones, and that some will return severely wounded, or not at all. Much is needed as our troops return from their tours of duty, and we want our returning G.I.'s and their families to receive the respect and benefits they so richly deserve.
We have teamed up with volunteer groups assembled together with one objective in mind: to pack and send support packages to our heroes. We are working hand-in-hand with other fine organizations to accomplish our mission.
Our mission is to send educational messages to America, protest anti-military groups, bring hope to the families of our beloved military and sponsor packages to our troops.
The actions of G.I. America is not limited to just sending packages to our troops, but also includes protesting code pink cowards, sending educational e-mails to the public, our members and all interested parties stimulating patriotism and building support for our troops.
We are not constrained by politically motivated guidelines set forth by a disconnected bureaucracy but rather we are free to voice our support unabashedly in the face of all who disrespects our greatest blessing, the heroes of our nation. We resist all those who wish to eviscerate our military might and we embrace our brave men and women in uniform. Rather than place ourselves in silent servitude we remain free to voice our uncensored, unapologetic support for our troops and their mission, right in the face of all who disrespect our flag and our heritage as a free nation.
When the troops need Care Packages from home we will assemble the nesseccary teams of volunteers and work hand in hand with other organizations to accomplish the mission.
When the troops need a voice we shall rise up and speak with a unified voice for those who are serving faithfully that have no voice. We will speak into the face of anti-military groups such as "Code Pink."
When the troops need their benefits protected and increased we shall walk the halls of Congress, march in the streets and hold rallies for those who are ordered to be silent.
When our troops leave behind loved ones having given all for their beloved nation, we shall comfort their families.
Holding dear the example of our Founding Fathers we shall be ready to give our life, our liberty and sacred honor in the protection of this great republic.
For this stance we are conveniently excluded by the politically impotent from a desirable tax status. If a citizen chooses not to give to G.I. America then so be it. Give to another. But for us and those who choose to stand with us we shall give, we shall march and we shall speak even in the face of a loss of a deduction for our personal tax reward. We are loyal to our beloved nation whether we can deduct our price of loyalty from our taxes or not, we shall not be compromised nor silenced simply because of a status that is held over our heads.
We work hand in hand with many fine non-profit organizations assisting with their efforts to aid the troops, but for us we choose to remain free to serve, unfettered without government intrusion.
Q. Is my donation tax deductible?
